Promoting Early Development and Childhood Education in Tunisia

The Elissa Project, named after the founder of Carthage (Modern day Tunisia), It is an advocacy effort by the Tunisian American Center in favor of quality education in Tunisia during the years leading to formal education.

The activities involve: advocacy for quality preschool teaching, creating partnerships with various organizations involved in early childhood development (educators, parents, pediatricians, developmental psychiatrists and researchers), coordination with Civil Society entities and the introduction of innovative techniques, such as arts-based learning.
