    LET'S MEET IN ATHENS!

Athens, Georgia that is... And, after enjoying Athens' unique blend of Southern Heritage and contemporary entertainment, we could sneak a visit to nearby Atlanta (about 56 miles).

So, make your plans for your American vacation in Georgia next May, and while reveling in the Southern Style and Charm, make time to show your pride at the Tunisian American Day gala by attending the Ibn Khaldun Award Hafla- 2007 to be held at the prestigious University of Georgia at Athens (UGA). A "peach" of a time is guaranteed!

UGA is a most suitable venue for an Award gala named after the great scholar and statesman Ibn Khaldun:

    • The University houses the UGA-Tunisia Educational Partnership, an initiative that supports the modernization of the Tunisian education system, and offers cultural exchanges between UGA and Tunisia.
    • In addition, UGA is considered to be Georgia's flagship institution of higher education and its Programs seek to foster the understanding of and respect for cultural differences.
