The Tunisian Community Center established a Fund to support a Study in Tunisia Scholarship. Such a scholarship would offer an academically deserving US University student of Arabic the opportunity to experience the Tunisian culture. The goal is to enable the Student to practice his/her language skills and perhaps function as a civilian ambassador to Tunisia during his/her study experience. At the same time, the Student will discover firsthand that Tunisia is a land of culture and a crucible of civilizations, and that it deserves its reputation of being the most socially progressive and economically successful country of the southern Mediterranean.
