The Fund was established in 2006 to support a "Study-in-Tunisia" scholarship program at an American university, that offers academically deserving students of Arabic the opportunity to experience the Tunisian culture.

The Study-in-Tunisia Scholarship Fund fittingly reflects the Tunisian Community Center's commitment to addressing the cultural needs of our community. The goal is for the Student to function as a cultural ambassador to Tunisia during his/her study experience and, at the same time discover firsthand that Tunisia is a land of culture and a crucible of civilizations, as well as the most socially progressive and economically successful country of the southern Mediterranean.    

The Scholarship is awarded each year to students via the partnering University to which the students have been accepted.
